We spoke to some of the Girls of Glam ladies who worked at the Grey Cup to see how they felt about having the opportunity to work at the 100th Grey Cup between the Argos and the Stampeders.
How did you feel about having the opportunity to work at the 100th Grey Cup:
Dana W.:
"It was awesome!
I had tons of fun and got to meet a lot of great people. It was also really
nice to see how much Toronto got into the spirit and all came together as a
community to support our home team the Argos."
Catharine K.:
"It’s always fun working sporting events and meeting the
people who attend. There’s always a fun and exciting atmosphere with sports
fans and I knew there was going to be an especially positive energy because it
was the 100th anniversary Grey Cup"
How did you represent Girls of Glam and the position you were hired for?
Catharine K.:
“As promotional models we were there to socialize, mix and
mingle and increase brand awareness of bet365.net. We kicked off the night distributing complimentary
shots in the VIP area. Later on, we dispersed throughout Brant House: talking
to people, taking pictures, dancing and just having fun interacting with
everyone.”
Dana W.:
“We had a really positive response. Also spent alot of time interacting with the children and many
of the parents were happy to see a responsible yet out going young adult
playing with their children and making sure they were safe.”
What was your favourite part about working at the 100th Grey Cup?
Serena L.:
“My favourite part about working at the Grey Cup
is meeting the other girls from Girls of Glam and having fun
with the clients and also making sure everyone is having a good time.”
Dana W.:
“Being in the upbeat environment Everyone was in
a great mood and just wanted to celebrate this milestone for Toronto and
Canada.”
Catharine K.:
“My favorite part about working at the Grey Cup was being
able to meet such a range of people associated with the cup. I got to meet lots
of people; ranging from other promotional models to CFL fans to media personnel
to CFL sponsors.”
We loving giving our girls at Girls of Glam wonderful opportunities like this. We are so lucky to have such wonderful team members, and we are really pleased with the great job they did last weekend at the 100th Grey Cup!
