New Year's Eve: The Royal Ball

Although it may seem early, now is the perfect time to start planning your New Year's event. You never want to have to try and think of something to do at the last minute. This year, Girls of Glam want to ring in the new year with you at The Royal Ball at Fountain Blu.

You will be dazzled at this extraordinary event. Dress code will be effect, so this is your chance for ladies to get glam, and men to get sharp. This is a sophisticated formal event. We are so excited for this event! There are 3 ballrooms to choose from, complimentary hors doevre's, midnight champagne toast, and endless party favours. Your new year's will feel like a fantasy while you party at this event!

If you're interested in arriving in style, preferred limo rates and hotel packages will be available, and VIP bottle service are available for booking as well.

Celebrate Halloween with Us!

I'm sure many of you had a blast this weekend for Halloween - probably at one of the events we told you about! They were great turn-outs and we couldn't be more happy to have been a part of all them.

But...the party doesn't stop there! Halloween is actually on Wednesday. Which means, if you missed out on the opportunity to dress up with your friends, you have another chance...or another chance to show-off another costume. Because, let's be honest, Halloween is probably one of the most fun 'holidays' of the year.

Here are two great events for you to choose from on Wednesday night:

Liberty Halloween at Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex in Toronto

DJ Tilt, DJ Dennis R, DJ Richard Sillas, and DJ Rouge will be sending out amazing music all night. Doors open at 9pm - so get there early!

Sugar skulls are welcome at this fun event! Latin Wednesday will not be missed when you are celebrating El Diablos!

Bring your best costume and enjoy a great night of Halloween fun at a fantastic venue. Dinner reservations start from 4pm, and night life at 10pm. General admission is $20.

Events Not to Be Missed This Month: Feat. &Co Resto Bar

&Co Resto Bar is one of Girls of Glam's favourite places to host events (as we have stated before.) October can be a particularly busy month. With all the Halloween parties to choose from, it can be hard to figure out which events you should attend.

If you have gone to a GOG event before, you know it's aways a great time. We only host at the best events, so not only do we keep our clients satisfied, we also keep our FANS satisfied. This month, we have a lot of events for you to choose from at &Co Resto Bar and we want to ensure you get all the time you need to make plans with your friends to attend each of these fantastic events.

Starting with this Saturday, join us for the J. Lindberg Fashion Week Show

Thursday, October 25th we kick off Halloween early by 'Kicking it Old-School' with the Thriller Halloween Edition.

October 26th, join us for the Halloween Edition of Freakshow and win cash for best costumes!

Can't make it out on the 26th, or you have another amazing costume to show off? No worries, we're still rocking it on the 27 with another Halloween Edition: Monster's Ball.

Leading up to a phenomenal Halloween night, &Co Reso Bar will be hosting El Diablos Ball on October 31st for the best Halloween party you can imagine. You need to bring your game face for this one and rock a great costume because there will be a cash prize for best costume!

&Co Resto Bar's Halloween edition events are Girls of Glam's favourite place to show-off our best costumes! We will be there, and we are looking forward to seeing you there as well!

And don't forget, &Co will  still be hosting their regular events this week and the following (which we will be attending). So make sure you come out to Latin Wednesdays and of course, Kicking It Old School on Friday nights!

Toronto Fashion Week - An Opportunity Not to be Missed

As a model, we all wait for our shining moment. And working Toronto Fashion Week - is a HUGE moment for any model.

Girls of Glam are excited to announce that we are looking for models to work FASHION WEEK October 22nd-26th. We need models for various specific jobs. We want to pass on this opportunity for male and female models who are already Girls of Glam members, and also models who are not yet part of our roster. This is a great opportunity to join Girls of Glam and also an even more amazing opportunity to gain some experience in the high-fashion industry.

If you are currently not a Girls of Glam model, you will need to apply with us. You can do so by sending your resume, and 3 PROFESSIONAL photos of yourself. We are always searching for new talent, and we want the best of the best!

It feels like Fall approached faster than Summer left us. But while it's super sad to see the summer end, this is also a great time of year to start thinking of holiday parties!

Another Sunday Sound Session Boat Cruise with Girls of Glam

Last month Girls of Glam were part of a great party on the water! That's right - the Sunday Sound Session Boat Cruise. And let's be honest, partying on the water is way more fun than partying on land. It was such a success that we're bringing it back with the Sunday Sound Session Boat Cruise - Gratitude party September 30th.

You will have a ton of fun partying on this cruise - more than last time! And if you missed the last boat cruise don't sweat it because you have another opportunity to experience the fun. Entertainment by ISC Nation, Special K, DJ Mix n Match, Planet Otnorot and Publicity will be delivering mashup, RnB, Hip Hop and Old School beats for you to jam to. Michael DeQuevedo will be live on percussion as well, so you know the boat will be stocked with the best music entertainment.

Tickets are $25 each, and complimentary snacks will be provided.

Girls of Glam Attend the 2012 Fan Expo

Nothing is out of our element at Girls of Glam. While we are generally known for our paid-to-party and alcohol sampling events, we also work at many other events as well. Recently we attended the 2012 Fan Expo for LG at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The Fan Expo is a place to connect comic, sci-fi, Anime, horror and gaming fans across Canada. We were thrilled to be a part of this interesting and fun event!

Working with LG, we had fun showing off LG's Cinema 3D Gaming Championship. We conducted a fun and successful trivia game with Fans via Twitter which we thought was a great idea and an perfect opportunity to connect fans online.

We loved interacting with the crowd, and show casing video games on the LG Cinema 3D! Fans loved the picture quality of the TV's and we were so happy to be able to represent such an awesome brand! Girls of Glam loves to be a part of opportunities where fans are able to interact with the brand we are representing - and this was a perfect opportunity for us to help out! Our Girls had a blast with the people at the Expo, and working with the product. We were thrilled to be a part of this event!

A big thanks to our models who showcased Girls of Glam versatility! We hope to be back again next year!
