100th Grey Cup with Girls of Glam

The Grey Cup was really exciting for Girls of Glam. Since our HQ is in the GTA, this year's cup was important to us. We were able to participate in this event, and give our Girls the opportunity to work at the game! We had Girls representing BET365 promoting their brand and ensuring viewers were having a fantastic time at the game, and we also had ladies promoting Sears Travel and hosting an obstacle course for the kids!

We spoke to some of the Girls of Glam ladies who worked at the Grey Cup to see how they felt about having the opportunity to work at the 100th Grey Cup between the Argos and the Stampeders.

How did you feel about having the opportunity to work at the 100th Grey Cup:
Dana W.:

"It was awesome! I had tons of fun and got to meet a lot of great people. It was also really nice to see how much Toronto got into the spirit and all came together as a community to support our home team the Argos."

Catharine K.:

"It’s always fun working sporting events and meeting the people who attend. There’s always a fun and exciting atmosphere with sports fans and I knew there was going to be an especially positive energy because it was the 100^th anniversary Grey Cup"

How did you represent Girls of Glam and the position you were hired for?

Catharine K.:

“As promotional models we were there to socialize, mix and mingle and increase brand awareness of bet365.net. We kicked off the night distributing complimentary shots in the VIP area. Later on, we dispersed throughout Brant House: talking to people, taking pictures, dancing and just having fun interacting with everyone.”

Dana W.:

“We had a really positive response. Also spent alot of time interacting with the children and many of the parents were happy to see a responsible yet out going young adult playing with their children and making sure they were safe.” 

 

What was your favourite part about working at the 100th Grey Cup?

Serena L.:

“My favourite part about working at the Grey Cup is meeting the other girls from Girls of Glam and having fun with the clients and also making sure everyone is having a good time.”

Dana W.:

“Being in the upbeat environment  Everyone was in a great mood and just wanted to celebrate this milestone for Toronto and Canada.”

Catharine K.:

“My favorite part about working at the Grey Cup was being able to meet such a range of people associated with the cup. I got to meet lots of people; ranging from other promotional models to CFL fans to media personnel to CFL sponsors.”

We loving giving our girls at Girls of Glam wonderful opportunities like this. We are so lucky to have such wonderful team members, and we are really pleased with the great job they did last weekend at the 100th Grey Cup!

B-Scene at the Sound Academy with Mercedes-Benz

The best things in life are free! Which is why we are extremely excited to announce a free concert hosted by Mercedes Benz to launch the new B-Class in Canada! Yes...you heard us correctly.

This EXCLUSIVE concert will feature DJ sets with Montreal-based Chromeo and British house music duo Dirty Vegas. This will by far be one of the greatest events of the year, and one to not be missed. Targeting the B-Class consumer specifically in mind, the night will fuse art and music together with beats and inspired live-street art. 

Hosted at the Sound Academy in Toronto on Wednesday, November 21st, you must register for the opportunity to attend. You can register at bclass.ca/girlsofglam for your chance to be selected to attend the free concert. Selection will occur at a lottery basis. Registration is open NOW, and we want to make sure each of our fans have the opportunity to be selected. Registration will close TOMORROW.

If you are selected - make sure you say hello to the Girls of Glam! We will be hosting the media wall, iPad sign up's and the VIP area where there will be a photo booth!

New Year's Eve: The Royal Ball

Although it may seem early, now is the perfect time to start planning your New Year's event. You never want to have to try and think of something to do at the last minute. This year, Girls of Glam want to ring in the new year with you at The Royal Ball at Fountain Blu.

You will be dazzled at this extraordinary event. Dress code will be effect, so this is your chance for ladies to get glam, and men to get sharp. This is a sophisticated formal event. We are so excited for this event! There are 3 ballrooms to choose from, complimentary hors doevre's, midnight champagne toast, and endless party favours. Your new year's will feel like a fantasy while you party at this event!

If you're interested in arriving in style, preferred limo rates and hotel packages will be available, and VIP bottle service are available for booking as well.

Celebrate Halloween with Us!

I'm sure many of you had a blast this weekend for Halloween - probably at one of the events we told you about! They were great turn-outs and we couldn't be more happy to have been a part of all them.

But...the party doesn't stop there! Halloween is actually on Wednesday. Which means, if you missed out on the opportunity to dress up with your friends, you have another chance...or another chance to show-off another costume. Because, let's be honest, Halloween is probably one of the most fun 'holidays' of the year.

Sugar skulls are welcome at this fun event! Latin Wednesday will not be missed when you are celebrating El Diablos!

Bring your best costume and enjoy a great night of Halloween fun at a fantastic venue. Dinner reservations start from 4pm, and night life at 10pm. General admission is $20.

Events Not to Be Missed This Month: Feat. &Co Resto Bar

&Co Resto Bar is one of Girls of Glam's favourite places to host events (as we have stated before.) October can be a particularly busy month. With all the Halloween parties to choose from, it can be hard to figure out which events you should attend.

If you have gone to a GOG event before, you know it's aways a great time. We only host at the best events, so not only do we keep our clients satisfied, we also keep our FANS satisfied. This month, we have a lot of events for you to choose from at &Co Resto Bar and we want to ensure you get all the time you need to make plans with your friends to attend each of these fantastic events.

Starting with this Saturday, join us for the J. Lindberg Fashion Week Show

Thursday, October 25th we kick off Halloween early by 'Kicking it Old-School' with the Thriller Halloween Edition.

October 26th, join us for the Halloween Edition of Freakshow and win cash for best costumes!

Can't make it out on the 26th, or you have another amazing costume to show off? No worries, we're still rocking it on the 27 with another Halloween Edition: Monster's Ball.

Leading up to a phenomenal Halloween night, &Co Reso Bar will be hosting El Diablos Ball on October 31st for the best Halloween party you can imagine. You need to bring your game face for this one and rock a great costume because there will be a cash prize for best costume!

&Co Resto Bar's Halloween edition events are Girls of Glam's favourite place to show-off our best costumes! We will be there, and we are looking forward to seeing you there as well!
